Berks County criminal law attorney David R. Eshelman was born in West Reading, Pennsylvania. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in 1974 and began practicing law in 1975 at Stevens & Lee in Reading. While an associate at the firm, Mr. Eshelman simultaneously worked as Assistant Public Defender for Berks County and gained valuable knowledge of local criminal procedure. He became a partner at Stevens & Lee in 1978.
Mr. Eshelman was eager to devote more of his attention to defending people accused of crimes, and he opened his law firm in 1983. After 38 years in private practice, he is one of the most experienced criminal defense attorneys in Berks County. David R.
